Meet the Staff

Each member of Quintessentially's team has years of experience and is an expert in his or her field, with a wealth of contacts and connections. All share a passion for quality wherever it is found and are committed to seeking it out for Quintessentially's members.

Our staff now comprises almost 700 people globally, and the below sections show just a sample of our staff.

Scandinavia

Didrik Cappelen | CEO Scandinavia

Didrik M. Cappelen, Head of Quintessentially in Scandinavia, has worked with development of and running customer loyalty programmes with DnB NOR as their head of marketing. He holds a BBA from Copenhagen School of Economics and Business and Administration, and a MBA from American Graduate School of International Management.

Linda Magnusson | Director of Member Service

Linda has travelled the world and loves to find new places to explore. She lived in Austria for 3 seasons, just to climb the mountains and ski. She also tried out life in the south of Spain for a year as a restaurant manager. She has a background in the restaurant and event business. 2005, she worked full time organizing the Nordic Music Awards. She loves anything adventurous.

Marthe Follestad | Office Manager

Marthe Follestad has a BA in Marketing communication. After her studies she has focused on internal communication but also expanded her skills to include some graphic work. At Quintessentially Scandinavia she will be responisble for the newsletter, the homepage and accounting. When she has the time Marthe is either on the dance floor, horseback riding, or out and about with her friends.

Jean-Paul Wiser | Dedicated Account Manager

Jean-Paul is a Norwegian & American citizen who has lived in the US, France, UK and Norway for many years. While Studying Business and IT in Oslo and the UK, he decided to set up his own business, a boat chartering company which he sold 5 years later. He has a vast variety of experiences in different areas of expertise as in Shipping, Entrepreneurship and Construction business. His passion for business and seizing opportunities finally brought him to Quintessentially. He is avery social and outgoing person, and his interests are skiing, sailing, real estate and travelling.

Hanne Svendsberget | Ask Q Advisor

Hanne was born and raised in Norway. After graduating with a BA in hotel management from universities in Switzerland and Oslo Hanne moved into the hospitality industry, gaining invaluable experience within prestigious hotel and restaurant groups. A move to London spurred her desire to become an aficionado of the gourmet dining industry, with spells working within some renowned hotels along the way. In her spare time Hanne enjoys travelling, playing tennis and skiing, and spending as much time as possible with friends and family.

Torunn Tronsvang | Ask Q Manager

After seven years gaining amazing experience in the hospitality industry around the world, Torunn returned to her native Norway in late 2010. With extensive knowledge of travel tourism in Dubai, Thailand, Maldives and Bhutan, along with role within Quintessentially, Torunn is a renowned consultant for the Norwegian hospitality industry. Her passions extend from quality to service to virtually anything and everything that is out of the ordinary. She holds a BSc in International Hospitality Management from The Emirates Academy in Dubai and École hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.

Amanda Larose | Ask Q Advisor

Born in Northern Ontario Canada, Amanda has spent the last 5 years living in Toronto, Washington DC, Seoul and Stockholm. A graduate in sociology and criminology from the University of Western Ontario, Amanda speaks French, English and Swedish. It was this passion for different languages and cultures which led her to Asia to teach English for year. In Seoul, she met her soul-mate and decided relocate to Sweden with him and joined the Quintessentially Scandinavia team. When she’s not working, you’ll probably find her playing sports, travelling, shopping or enjoying a tasty cocktail.

Eskil Ramstad | Ask Q Advisor

Eskil Ramstad joined the Quintessentially Scandinavia team in September 2011 after graduating from BI Norwegian Business School with an MSc degree in International Marketing and Management.

His love for travelling and experiencing new cultures led him to Singapore and Germany where he spent a year living in each country. In his spare time Eskil enjoys hiking, skiing, and travelling.
